In India, the unemployment problem has become a major challenge because the unemployment in the entire region is growing, not because there is lack opportunities, but because the unemployed youth have failed to take advantage of the opportunities available. The technological and other changes that are taking place today are providing immense potential to the unemployed youth to realize about the various opportunities available and also to take advantage of the situation.
To help and motivate local unemployed youth for taking up the entrepreneurial career, a large number of institutions/organizations like IIE, NIESBUD, MSME-DI, KVIC, DIC, KVIB, NEITCO, NICON, NSIC etc have been operating in the entire region. These institutions/organizations have been conducting various types of training programmes, organizing seminars, workshops etc and conducting research studies (including offering consultancy and other services) for developing entrepreneurship in the entire region.
