Role of Industry
- The Industry partner agrees to participate in NAPS
- The Industry agrees to engage apprentices as per the provision of NAPS
- The Industry partner agrees to pay a stipend equal to 70% of minimum wages for semi-skilled worker notified by the respective State Government/ Union Territory as payable to apprentices (as per section 13 under Rule 7A and Rule 11 of Apprenticeship Rules, 1992)
- The Industry partner agrees to depute apprentices for Basic Training whenever scheduled
- Industry Partner shall agrees to abide by all the provisions of NAPS
- Industry Partner shall follow guidelines/ instructions issued by DGT/NSDC from time to time.
