As per Certified Credit Counsellors handbook issued by SIDBI, Government of India. CCI can work as professional credit intermediaries/advisors for all MSMEs:
- Recommend to the banks the business proposals of entrepreneurs;
- Perform preliminary credit appraisal on behalf of the banks and
- Collate additional supporting information required by the banks/ credit institutions.
